First Place Winner for BALSAMIC Vinegar of Modena in:
Exposition in Florence 1861, Wien 1875, Modena 1886, Bologna 1888, Paris 1890, Paris 1900, Bruxelles 1905, Modena 1925, etc. (see "Medals Collection", in the picture).

Special Appointment of HER MAJESTY Vittorio Emanuele III of SAVOIA, KING OF ITALY, on 1929. The only appointment to a Balsamic Manifacture. Giusti show on his bottles the arm of the king, white cross in red fields (see "King of Savoia" in the picture).

King of Savoia		 The history of GIUSTI of Modena goes back a long way and is rich in so many achievements, a fact reflected by the several medals and diplomas.

The story begins with GIOVANNI FRANCESCO GIUSTI, specifically mentioned in a document signed by Duke Cesare d'Este, in the CITY OF MODENA HISTORIC ARCHIVE, in 1598.

Supplier to the ESTE DUKES of Modena, to the aristocracy of the whole Europe, and the ROYAL HOUSE OF SAVOY, by special appointment of H.M. VITTORIO EMANUELE III, from generation to generation the GIUSTI family have never stopped producing their Balsamic Vinegar, with their method known as the "Giuseppe Giusti recipe" and their reserve of antique barrels, gradually enlarged over the years.

Giusti Founder

 In 1612 follows GIOVANNI MARIA GIUSTI.

Until to day 14 generations of Giusti pass in the centuries:

Giuseppe, follows Domenico, again Giuseppe, Giovanni and several others of which we have lost the memory. However the family business was always named "Ditta Giuseppe Giusti - Modena".
On 1906 there was Pietro Giusti and the firm was enlarged: "Grande Assortimento d' Aceto Balsamico Giuseppe Giusti di Modena". His son Riccardo on 1929 changed the name in: "Gran deposito d'Aceto Balsamico GIUSEPPE GIUSTI - Modena - Casa Fondata nel 1605", with the picture in Liberty's style that follows:

This is also the actual name and will be the same in future

To Riccardo succeded Giuseppe. In the 900', Giusti was so famous in Modena that mail was delivered with the simply adress: Giusti - Modena.
Last generation presently follows to Giuseppe: the nephews that have preserved the ancient barrels, many of which are centenary, preserved the old system of artisanal production , the ancient Giusti's recipe, and carry out of Modena, in all the world, this fantastic product named: Aceto Balsamico GIUSTI
