Born from a request by Maestro Luciano Pavarotti in 2006, the Giusti family created the “Scrigno”, to be sold at a charity auction organized by his Foundation.
A precious wooden box contains the entire historical collection in the classic “Champagnotta” format, alongside five premium balsamic vinegars, aged in single barrels of oak, cherry, chestnut, mulberry and ash.close
Over the years the “Scrigno” has been joined by a collection of objects with the same philosophy: to accompany balsamic vinegar admirers on a journey into the wonderful world of this liquid, through a tasting of the different qualities of the Giusti balsamic vinegars.close
Giusti “monolegni” are a tasting experience born from the recipes of the Giusti family. Through the “Decanter and Refill” system, the passage of the product through casks of different woods gives to the final result a very rich bouquet of scents and flavors. The choice of further maturating some selections of product in single casks of a specific wood gave a chance to concentrate in each of these condiments the own characteristics of the following essences:
- Oak: a noble ageing wood, rich with unmistakeable notes of vanilla
- Juniper: with its distinctive strong and unique aromas
- Cherry wood: characterized by the release of warm colors, and sweetly spicy notes
Created in homage to the historical participation of the Giusti family in five of the late 19th century International Fairs: Vienna 1873, Paris 1889, Antwerp 1894, Brussels 1897 and Paris 1900. In each of these occasions, Giusti balsamic vinegars were awarded gold medals, displayed together today, along with other awards, on the historical Giusti label.
Five special bottles, containing a precious selection of balsamic vinegars, extracted from the finest family casks from that same era. Each of the five labels are the original banners of the respective International Fairs, created in the liberty style of that era.close
